Darla Konman
Darla Konman is a freshman at Rockhurst University majoring in Criminal Justice. She is also a member of Voices for Justice and InterVarsity Bible Study. Darla has a passion for spending time in nature and reviewing biographies of famous historical figures.
Darla’s work explores the visual representation of memory and the past, capturing fleeting moments of childhood, peace, and sudden loneliness through imagery like the vast, stretching blue sea.
A fun fact about Darla is that she was raised in Chuuk, Micronesia, one of the least-known island regions in the world. Despite its small size, it was a significant site during World War II, serving as a strategic center of conflict between Japan and the United States.
